Here is my challenge – can I post one weird album cover each day, each of them coming from this year? Has there been enough foolishness in 2010 to withstand that pace? We will see…

Much has been written about the insanity of obscure album covers from the 60s or 70s. While the unhinged psychedelia and ill-advised intentions on cover art from those days have been sufficiently documented elsewhere (as well as over-the-top glitzy slime from the 80s), here is your resource for insane, weird, awful and miscarried covers of today.
Back then cover artists had only scissors, cameras, LSD, joints and occasionally crack to work with – today people have Photoshop in addition to all of that and the weirdness does not stop. MP3s may be killing the physical form of music, but for some unexplained reason insane cover art does not seem to suffer!
